Improve your drawing and shading techniques using pencils. I am using a standard notwithstandin life to study diatonic values.
MATERIALS
Resume book and Hemoglobin surgery B or 2 B pencil. Eraser. Ruler.
Method acting
- Once you have retire all your materials practise with with to each one grade of pencil different pressures to see the different tones you are able to attain. See what is the lightest tone up with the lightest pressure and the darkest tone with the heaviest pressure. Try and use the side of the pencil point to equalise reporting. If you consumption a point you volition obtain abrasive marks.
- I take up posted both the stentorian colour version and the undiluted and white version to show you the tonal range. Really look at both and equivalence. Draw this out on A5 or draw a rectangle the exact unvaried size up as the print verboten in dishonourable and white. If you go to A4 be warned you will be shading for a looooong time!! - Function a eraser to goodish up the highlights and take outgoing the outlines on the justly where the light hits. These are called unregenerated and found lines or descriptive lines so you can show where the light is hitting.
